Corporate Social Responsibility

he success of the Key Security Group is not measured solely on the turnover or profits we generate.

For us, being an industry leader demands we manage our business interests in an accountable manner.

Community

We have delivered event security for Wakefield Hospice since 2010, with around 30 staff per year volunteering to work the 10k Road Race event for free, ensuring that all the funds raised from this event were used in their entirety for the benefit of the Hospice.

Following the divestment of our event security business in January 2016, the latest event in April 2016 saw our Managing Director provide a consultancy role and organise a new supplier for the security stewarding for the annual event for the 7 th consecutive year.

As we are no longer able to self-deliver this event, our role will be to provide sponsorship to allow a private security contractor to deliver the event again ensuring the Hospice benefit from the funds raised.

Environmental

Key Security’s commitment to the environment is demonstrated by achieving ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems accreditation. The Company’s environmental management system focuses on identifying, assessing, and controlling the activities that impact our business and that may affect the environment.

Our aim is to ensure that all stakeholders are fully aware of their environmental responsibilities by providing environment awareness training and periodic updates to all employees.

Health & Safety

Key Security is fully compliant to Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures. Adherence to regulations is managed and monitored by our OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety Management System accreditation. Further relevant accreditations include Safecontractor and we are members of the British Safety Council.

All stakeholders are fully aware of their responsibility for the health and safety of others by providing Health and Safety training and periodic updates to all employees.

The Group is working towards full integration of the Living Wage for all our employees.
